We were deeply honored to extend a very warm welcome to our esteemed guests from the Consulate General of Malaysia, Trade Section—MATRADE Hong Kong: Ms. Intan Zalani, Trade Commissioner, and Mr. Tommy Shiu.

The primary objective of our meeting was to gain deeper insights into the current jewelry industry outlook in Hong Kong, particularly in light of the significant growth in jewelry exports from Malaysia to Hong Kong. The discussions centered on exploring exciting potential collaborations between HKJMA members and Malaysian industry partners.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited J-HUB to gain first-hand knowledge of our advanced testing services and the day-to-day operations of our specialized jewelry craftsmanship laboratories.

We look forward to building on this meaningful dialogue and strengthening the trade relations between Hong Kong and Malaysia!
