Since the last meeting with Dr. Bernard Chan Pak Li, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, on 28 May. We are honored to have Dr. Chan to come to have a second meeting with our board of committee again. Major points of discussion during the meeting are as followed:

1. Understanding the current situation of the Hospital Authority’s COVID-19 community treatment facility at AsiaWorld-Expo;

2. Following up on the Anti-epidemic Fund measures and the launch date of the Convention and Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme;

3. Proposing to include "JMA Hong Kong International Jewelry Show" into the SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF);

4. Showing the concern that banks will tighten their loan conditions in the coming year and hoping the government could help with the difficulties on loan applications for our industry;

5. Urging the government to introduce the 3rd round of the Anti-epidemic Fund, and to provide more measures covering the Hong Kong jewelry industry.
