The HKIJMS Welcome Reception and JMA International Jewelry Design Competition 2018 Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 29 November, 2018. The ceremony started with the kickoff of the new book launched by HKJMA.

"Last year we expanded the exhibition area to Hall 3 F&G, and have received positive comments. This year we continued to retain the show area, and the number of exhibitors has reached new heights. We set up the 'Jewelry Party Zone' for displaying different themed party jewelry, and a series of games and workshops for visitors to participate in and win rich gifts." Mr. William Li, Associate Chairman (Exhibition Affairs) of HKJMA and the Organizing Committee Chairman of JMA International Jewelry Design Competition 2018, mentioned in his welcoming speech.

In addition, the JMA International Jewelry Design Competition 2018 results were also announced during the event. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of HKJMA. With the blossom of HKJMA in Hong Kong jewelry industry over the past years, it matches with the theme "Blossom" of JMA International Jewelry Design Competition 2018. While the winners were announced, five Miss Jewelry Hong Kong presented the winning pieces in catwalk, showing the most beautiful side of each jewelry product.
