2. Recreational Activities
For the purpose of tightening the relationship between members, HKJMA regularly organizes recreational and social activities in order to alleviate their pressure from work.

HKJMA 20th Anniversary Dinner Gala |
20th Anniversary Celebration Review
HKJMA stepped into its 20th anniversary in 2008. To celebrate this special moment, the "Open Day 2008 and 20th Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony" was held on 1 August 2008. A bevy of General Committee, Executive Committee and fellow members as well as non-members also participated in the fete, drawing nearly 100 visitors, further heated up the Open Day.
Other than the Open Day, "HKJMA 20th Anniversary Dinner Gala and Hong Kong Jewelry Industry Outstanding Award Presentation Ceremony 2008" was taken place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4 December 2008.
This was the second time in a row that the Hong Kong Jewelry Industry Outstanding Award Presentation Ceremony was held. It also became one of the 20th anniversary celebration activities. The Awards were presented to industry players with great contributions to Hong Kong Jewelry Industry, encouraging jewelers to advocate the continuous development of jewelry industry, and thus bolster the Hong Kong economy.
It was our honour to have the Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So Kam-leung , JP to commence the dinner gala with HKJMA Chairman, Associate Chairman and the Chairman for the 20th Anniversary Dinner Gala Organizing Committee.
A series of outstanding performances were organized to share the memorable past with guests and members. Other than games, a special catwalk show, which highlighted 8 models wearing the award-winning and participating Buyers'Favorite Jewelry Design Competition repertoires, enabled the guests to enjoy the glamorous look closely. The singing and lucky draw sections also brought great pleasure to the guests.
Looking forward, HKJMA will continue to provide excellent services for members, leading Hong Kong jewelry industry to another milestone. |
