Jewelers' Credit Management Services
1. Credit Checking Service
Credit-checking service is provided to HKJMA members in order to minimize their business risks. Through the most professional credit-checking company, JBT in the USA, members can easily assess the financial health of their trading partners and evaluate the financial ability of these partners to fulfill their commitments.
Year Performance
During July 2008 to June 2009, HKJMA issued almost 15 credit reports to members.
|
2. Debt Tracking Service
The aim of "Debt Tracking Service" is to help members to lower the risk of doubtful debts from overseas and local buyers. Members can simply submit all supporting documents to HKJMA. Then HKJMA will issue a demand letter in the name of the Association to debtors, pointing out that if they refuse to make payment within the said deadline or give a reasonable explanation, their debt information will soon be published in our "The Industry News" and circulate to our members and the letter will also be sent to local/overseas trade associations and government departments for record keeping.
Year Performance
During July 2008 to June 2009, HKJMA successfully helped more than 10 members to collect their debt. |
