Organization of Exhibition
Organizing "Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers' Show" (Also known as "JMA Hong Kong")
Since 1995, HKJMA has been organizing "Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers' Show" annually. It keeps a steady growth and has become one of the largest Asian jewelry events at year-end, serving as an "immediate sales & merchandising platform" for global buyers, especially the South East Asian buyers, before the hottest selling seasons.
Year Performance
The "16th Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers' Show" took place on 4 - 7 December, 2008 at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre Hall 1.
Exhibitors' Participation
The Show was held successfully. Besides Hong Kong, it also gathered quality exhibitors from 16 overseas countries/regions, such as Belgium, Canada, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan R.O.C., Thailand and the USA. There were 323 exhibitors participating in the show, occupying 499 booths (compared with 2007: 281 exhibitors; 465 booths). This represents the growing support and acceptance of the show by both local and overseas jewelers.
Offers the Opportunity at Right Time and Place
"Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers' Show" attracted visitors from over 60 different countries / regions, bringing around 20,000 buyer traffic to the Show. Apart from local and mainland China, buyers were coming from 60 other countries/regions such as the Philippines, USA, Taiwan R.O.C., Japan, India, Canada and Singapore.
Zones Classification
Under the new concept of clear product zones classification for "Fine Jewelry", "Gem & Pearl", "Diamond" and "Machinery & Packaging", buyers can find out their desired products more directly and save time, while the exhibitors can grasp the right buyers in an easier way. The expanding of "Gem & Pearl" and "Diamond" zones in the past three years has proved the idea to be successful.
New feature – International Designer Arena
25 talented jewelry designers from Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, the Netherlands and Hong Kong showcased their unique pieces of designs in the "International Designer Arena" fairground.
The Arena has provided a chance for the international designers to exchange ideas; It has also been a golden opportunity for visitors to meet these talented designers from around the world under one roof.
